ChatGPT and language learning?

I found something amazing that ChatGPT can do!

I’m currently learning Mandarin. I wanted to see how ChatGPT works with other languages.

Obviously, ChatGPT cannot do any audio yet. But it can pump out text. I decided to ask it to write an HSK 1 story in Chinese.

And guess what?

It did just that, and it also gave me a translation in English. Fantastic!

Now, what ChatGPT gave me was simplified Chinese. Let’s see if it can do traditional Chinese.

It worked! And the chatbot also gave me an English translation.

And also, it can spit out the pinyin for it.

I don’t know how many languages ChatGPT has. But just input the language that you’re learning, whether it’s Korean, German, or French, and see what it comes up with.

Change the scenarios of each story and have a lot of fun!
